Del 7 de marzo al 12 de abril, la Galería Central del Centro Nacional de las Artes presenta la cuarta edición de Fotógrafas de la Vida Cotidiana, como parte del programa Tramas compartidas organizado en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer. Impulsada por la comunidad Mexican Women Photographers, fundada en 2022 por la fotoperiodista Sunny Quintero, la muestra reúne el trabajo de fotógrafas mexicanas dedicadas a la street photography en diversas geografías. Entre ellas participa Abril Ángel, alumni de PHotoESPAÑA, con la obra El amor en tiempos de la intifada. La exposición busca visibilizar la mirada femenina en el espacio público y fortalecer redes de diálogo en torno a la fotografía contemporánea. Además, el programa incluye talleres, charlas y actividades especiales en diálogo con el Festival Eurojazz.
From March 7 to April 12, the Central Gallery of the National Center for the Arts presents the fourth edition of Photographers of Everyday Life, as part of the program Shared Threads organized within the framework of International Women’s Day. Promoted by the community Mexican Women Photographers, founded in 2022 by photojournalist Sunny Quintero, the exhibition brings together the work of Mexican photographers dedicated to street photography across different geographies. Among them is Abril Ángel, a PHotoESPAÑA alumna, presenting the photograph Love in Times of the Intifada. The exhibition seeks to highlight the female gaze in public space and foster networks of dialogue and collaboration around contemporary photographic practice, alongside workshops, talks, and activities connected with the Eurojazz Festival.
